The largest taco festival in Dallas is back and better than ever! Join Dallas Observer for the 5th Annual Tacolandia on Saturday, October 5th. If you love tacos – and who doesn’t? – you’ll want to make sure you’re there to join in the fun and sample all the tacos you can handle at Tacolandia!
This outdoor taco-sampling festival will feature over 30 of Dallas’ best taquerias, from urban contemporary to authentic street-style. It will also include music, cash bars with beer, wine and cocktails as well as awards for best tacos in various categories. Get your fill of tacos, one of Dallas’ most iconic foods, only at Tacolandia!
This year’s participants include Alamo Club, Arepa, Blue Mesa Southwest Grill, Chilangos Tacos, Del Real Foods, The Empanada Cookhouse, Halal Mother Truckers, El Patron, and several others.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the North Texas Food Bank. The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a top-ranked nonprofit relief organization, providing access to more than 200,000 meals each day for hungry children, seniors and families across a 13-county service area. In the last fiscal year, NTFB’s feeding network provided access to nearly 77 million meals.
General Admission tickets start at $25 and include entry into the event at 4 p.m., unlimited taco samples, music, and cash bars. Margarita Mile VIP tickets start at $65 and include all of the General Admission benefits plus early entry into the event at 3 p.m., access to Margarita Mile VIP lounge with exclusive VIP only taco samples, three drink tickets at a private bar, and VIP restrooms.
